Stop 5G Hawaii

Aloha,

Thousands of peer reviewed research studies show the negative health effects of radiation from wireless technologies. As such, 5G wireless technology poses significant risks to humans, animals and the environment www.BioInitiative.org. Despite this, in 2018 Gov Ige implemented legislation for streamlined deployment of 5G across the state.

5G has never been safety tested. Thus it constitutes a human experiment without consent. 5G builds on existing 3G and 4G/LTE infrastructure but is is categorically different, involving newly erected small cell antennas blanketing residential neighborhoods (every few houses), using public infrastructure while emitting toxic levels of extremely high frequency (millimeter wave) wireless radiation never before used for internet or cell phones. It involves millions of new 5G base stations clustered closer to the ground - closer to homes and schools - and 40,000+ new transmitting satellites in near orbit www.5GSpaceAppeal.org/the-appeal

We do not consent to this involuntary exposure of wireless radiation. We respectfully demand the state of Hawaii place a moratorium on any 5G infrastructure until independent scientific studies are completed and show this technology poses no harm to humans, animals, or to the environment.

Stop Smart Meters Hawaii

Thousands of peer reviewed research studies show the negative health effects of radiation from wireless technologies. Smart meter wireless technology poses significant health risks to humans, animals and the environment.

In addition, smart meters have been linked to spikes in billing, privacy invasion, security issues, grid vulnerability, deadly fires, and in-home surveillance. Despite this, the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission approved deployment of smart meters across the islands by Hawaiian Electric (HECO, MECO, HELCO).

We respectfully demand the state of Hawaii place a moratorium on any smart meters, digital meters, advanced meters and related infrastructure until independent scientific studies are completed and show this technology poses no harm to humans, animals, or to the environment.
